Talking about traveling, Paris is always a good idea for me. The food, the fashion, the architecture, and even the photogeni-cality of the city itself. Finding the right place to stay can be tricky, faced with so many options. I used to stay in the Ritz Paris before it was renovated, it is just close to all my Auld Lang Syne shopping and dining venues. This time I just feel clichéd to follow the same routine. The Peninsula Hotels, having pampered me perfectly in Hong Kong and Tokyo, attracted all my attention with its indefeasible location.
I felt like a modern Marie Antoinette first time entering The Peninsula Paris. The hotel building itself is a democratized royal palace celebrating French grandeur. Hiding in the serene 16th arroudisement of Paris, the chaos of the city is yet a turn on the left then right.
